Eritema necrolítico migratório canino – relato de caso / Canine migratory necrolitic erythema – case report

Abstract


O eritema necrolítico migratório (ENM) constitui-se em rara dermatose de etiologia endócrino-metabólica, descrita em Medicina Veterinária, principalmente em caninos, mais raramente em felinos e rinocerontes negros. Mais de 90% dos casos caninos de ENM associam-se a hepatopatias de longo decurso. A doença manifesta-se de forma insidiosa, sobretudo em cães adultos, sem predisposição racial ou sexual. Apresenta prognostico ruim, com grande parte dos animais evoluindo a óbito poucos meses apos o estabelecimento do diagnostico.
