Abstract

A cultura do caju tem grande importância na fruticultura brasileira, principalmente no Nordeste, representando uma atividade de grande expressão econômica e social na região. Foram utilizados quatro clones obtidos a partir da Estação Experimental da Embrapa Tropical como o CCP 06, CCP 76, BRS 189 e BRS 226, tendo destaque na composição fitoquímica, proteína, toxicidade, fenóis, fitoesteróis e atividade antioxidante total. Este estudo tem como objetivo avaliar a qualidade e a atividade antioxidante total de hastes de diferentes clones de cajueiro anão, desenvolvido pela Embrapa Tropical, através da caracterização física e química, selecionando os clones que apresentaram os melhores resultados.
