Síndrome de Burnout na Covid-19: os impactos na saúde dos trabalhadores da saúde/ Burnout Syndrome at Covid-19: the health impacts on health workers

Abstract


A pandemia do novo Coronavírus causou grandes repercussões socioeconômicas e na saúde pública, levando a sociedade a se adaptar a uma realidade que inclui isolamento social e rotina de teletrabalho. Contudo, os profissionais de saúde possuem uma posição fundamental no combate a pandemia, estando constantemente expostos ao vírus. Além disso, o esgotamento físico e mental aos quais estão expostos, faz com que muitos desenvolvam a Síndrome de Burnout. Este estudo analisou os aspectos do processo de desenvolvimento de Burnout pelos profissionais da saúde em virtude da pandemia da Covid-19. Foi realizada revisão integrativa da literatura nas bases de dados Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS) e PUBMED, com os descritores “COVID-19”, “Burnout”, “Saúde do Trabalhador” e “Profissional da saúde”. A amostra foi composta por 44 artigos analisados por seu conteúdo com base em três núcleos temáticos. Quando abordados os impactos no processo de saúde e doença, a 48% dos artigos apontaram a depressão, 45% Burnout e 41% estresse. Quanto a promoção da saúde, 64% apresentaram propostas de intervenções preventivas em relação à doença mental e 59% o fornecimento de suporte emocional. Quanto aos fatores determinantes sociais da saúde, 50% destacaram o aumento da carga de trabalho, 64% o fato de ser profissional da área da saúde e 31% o esgotamento físico e mental. Dessa forma, faz-se necessário a implementação de estratégias de promoção de saúde no âmbito desses trabalhadores, com o intuito de minimizar os efeitos físicos e emocionais vivenciados por eles, e assim, melhorar a qualidade do serviço prestado.
