Prevalência de ansiedade em diferentes populações durante a pandemia da COVID-19: uma revisão integrativa / Prevalence of anxiety in different population during the COVID-19 pandemic: an integrative review

Abstract


Introdução: O isolamento social durante a pandemia  provocou mudanças na saúde mental da população mundial. Nesse contexto, realizamos uma revisão integrativa sobre os principais impactos da COVID-19 na saúde mental, especialmente nos níveis de ansiedade em diversos grupos populacionais. Metodologia: Foi feita uma revisão integrativa com a utilização das bases de dados: Medical Literature and Retrieval System onLine (MEDLINE/PubMed) e Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO). Os descritores utilizados foram: ”anxiety disorders” AND “COVID-19”. A busca selecionou 35 artigos com base nos critérios de inclusão e exclusão para extração de dados. Resultados: Em todos os grupos analisados (profissionais de saúde, população adulta em geral, pacientes infectados com a COVID-19, pacientes pós-COVID-19, crianças e adolescentes, grávidas e universitários) observou-se um aumento na prevalência da ansiedade em níveis variáveis. Discussão: O contexto da pandemia da COVID-19 contribuiu para o aumento da prevalência de ansiedade nas diferentes populações analisadas, afetando significativamente o bem estar desses grupos. Diante disso, discute-se a necessidade de ações de intervenção em saúde mental direcionadas a essas populações. Conclusão: A pandemia de COVID-19 contribuiu para o aumento da prevalência dos transtornos de ansiedade em diversas populações de modo multifatorial, especialmente devido ao isolamento social e o medo da doença.
