Efeito da inclusão de pigmentantes naturais à dieta de frangos de corte sobre o desempenho e coloração da pele do peito / Effect of natural pigments inclusion in broiler diet on performance and coloring breast skin

Abstract


Com o objetivo de avaliar os efeitos da adição de pigmentantes naturais à dieta de frangos de corte como alternativa aos pigmentantes sintéticos avaliou-se o desempenho e a coloração da pele do peito das aves. Foram utilizados 3200 pintos machos da linhagem Ross® distribuídos em um delineamento inteiramente casualizado com oito tratamentos: sem inclusão de pigmentantes; apo-éster e cantaxantina de acordo com as fases de criação; 15 g/t de xantofila 1 (extrato de calêndula); 30 g/t de xantofila 1; 15 g/t de xantofila 1 + 2 g/t de norbixina (sementes de urucum); 30 g/t de xantofila 1 + 2 g/t de norbixina; 15 g/t de xantofila 2 (óleo de calêndula), com oito repetições de 50 aves cada. Foram avaliadas características de desempenho das aves e aos 40 dias de idade foi avaliada a luminosidade (L*), a intensidade de vermelho (a*) e de amarelo (b*) da pele do peito das aves antes do pré resfriamento. Menor (P=0,0001) viabilidade criatória ocorreu quando não foram incluídos pigmentantes às dietas. Aves que receberam apo-éster + cantaxantina e 30 g/t de xantofila 1 tiveram maiores (P=0,0010) valores para a intensidade de vermelho. Para a intensidade de amarelo houveram maiores valores (P<0,0001) com a inclusão de 30 g/t de xantofila 1. Deve-se incluir na dieta de frangos de corte 30 g/t de xantofila 1, como alternativa ao uso de apo-éster e cantaxantina, a fim de aumentar a intensidade de vermelho e de amarelo na pele do peito das aves, melhorando ainda a viabilidade criatória do lote.
