Effects of magnetic field genetared by permanentmagnet in water pH/ Efeitos de campo magnético gerado por ímã permanente no pH da água

Abstract


This paper presents an experimental study conducted by the Laboratory of Physics at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Maranhão (IFMA) - Sao Luis/Monte Castelo Campus, on the effects caused by low-intensity magnetic field generated by a permanent magnet Neodymium rare-earth type, in drinking water samples. The results obtained from the experiments showed that the pH of the drinking water was reduced acidity in the presence of the magnetic field. Over time, the pH tendedtostabilize.
