Abstract

O presente estudo investigou a relação peso-comprimento de cinco espécies de peixes de interesse ornamental da Reserva de Desenvolvimento Sustentável do Tupé, em Manaus, Amazonas, avaliando também a influência dos períodos hidrológicos sobre a mesma. Os peixes foram coletados em 2 períodos hidrológicos no ano de 2017, utilizando-se rapichés e redes de cerco, nas margens do lago Tupé. Os parâmetros da relação peso comprimento foram estimados utilizando o coeficiente angular ou alométrico (b), que variou de 2,0477 à 3,5743 no período da enchente e 2,3141 à 3,7053 no período da vazante. As espécies estudadas Acarichtys heckelii, Hyphessobrycon copelandi, Mesonauta festivus, Nannostomus eques e Nannostomus unifasciatus apresentaram variação sazonal na alometria. Os resultados deste trabalho fornecem dados de peso-comprimento que poderão servir de referência para futuros estudos com as espécies.
