Abstract


A análise da deformabilidade é um pré-requisito para a aplicação bem sucedida de um material em operações de forjamento a frio, sendo o diagrama de deformabilidade uma ferramenta importante que proporciona informações sobre a capacidade do material em ser deformado plasticamente sem a ocorrência de defeitos. Neste trabalho, o diagrama de deformabilidade da liga de alumínio AA6351 é construído a partir ensaios de compressão com atrito de amostras de diferentes geometrias. O critério de fratura é validado experimental e numericamente, utilizando o método de elementos finitos (FEM), através da análise de fratura em um processo de prensagem.  Na condição analisada, o material apresenta alta deformabilidade e o diagrama de deformabilidade construído é capaz de prever com precisão o momento da fratura no processo de prensagem.
