INTRODUÇÃO: A Síndrome de Young é uma enfermidade rara em que é caracterizada pela tríade de azoospermia obstrutiva, rinossinusite crônica e bronquiectasias. A sua etiologia e fisiopatologia são desconhecidas. APRESENTAÇÃO DO CASO: Paciente EXS, de 42 anos de idade, sexo masculino, natural e procedente de Goiânia, Goiás, há 2 anos tentando engravidar, tendo feito espermograma sendo diagnosticado com azoospermia, na investigação completa associada aos sinais de sintomas foi levantada a hipótese de síndrome de Young posteriormente fechada a hipótese diagnóstica. DISCUSSÃO: Afeta principalmente homens jovens. É necessário a exclusão de outras doenças com quadro clínico semelhante, como Fibrose Cística e Discinesia Ciliar Primária associados a exames complementares de imagem, citológicos e histológicos para realizar o diagnóstico. Como não há cura, o tratamento consiste na prevenção da recorrência de infecções respiratórias e controle dos demais sintomas. CONCLUSÃO: Por ser rara e subnotificada, há uma escassez de informações sobre o tema. Não há diretrizes ou critérios diagnósticos atuais para a síndrome, corroborando para uma diminuição na qualidade de vida e aumento da morbimortalidade dos pacientes.
