Abstract

INTRODUÇÃO: A situação pandêmica acarretada pelo novo Coronavírus (COVID-19) gerou várias mudanças no cotidiano das pessoas em diversos aspectos, gerando fortes alterações no padrão alimentar. A comida em muitos casos é encarada como escape para diversas situações, ou, como estímulo para uma melhora na qualidade de vida. Assim, o presente estudo objetiva explanar pesquisas na literatura que mostrem a relação da pandemia pelo COVID-19 com os efeitos sobre os hábitos alimentares. METODOLOGIA: Trata-se de uma revisão bibliográfica, com artigos do ano de 2020, consultada nas bases de dados ScienceDirect e PubMed, utilizando os descritores: COVID, habits, eating, behaviour. Incluiu-se artigos em inglês e português, que abordassem questões alimentares. RESULTADOS: Foram selecionados 12 artigos que se adequavam aos parâmetros de inclusão. DISCUSSÃO: A partir da análise dos artigos selecionados, notou-se que os padrões alimentares e comportamentais sofreram mudanças no período pandêmico, impactando de forma diferente os indivíduos: enquanto algumas amostras tiveram repercussões menos desejadas, outras tiveram mudanças positivas. CONCLUSÃO: Infere-se que a pandemia ocasionada pelo COVID-19 tem correlação direta com os hábitos alimentares dos indivíduos, sendo imprescindível a atuação do nutricionista nesse âmbito para evitar maiores agravos na saúde da população de forma geral.
