Abstract


Introdução: O SARS-COV-2 é um vírus que se disseminou pelo mundo inteiro devido a sua característica de fácil contágio. Em poucos meses estabeleceu-se um status de pandemia em todo o planeta onde foram instituídos medidas rígidas de isolamento para evitar uma maior disseminação e um maior número de mortos. Devido aos poucos estudos relacionados ao vírus, tem-se buscado de maneira insidiosa informações relacionadas a sua fisiopatologia e suas principais complicações no corpo humano. Métodos: Trata-se de uma revisão sistemática em que foram utilizadas técnicas de pesquisa em sites de referência com o objetivo de selecionar artigos que abordam principalmente as comorbidades mais comuns encontradas em pacientes internados por SARS-COV-2. Resultados e Discussão: Foi permitido conhecer os principais sinais e sintomas adquiridos pela infecção, achados em exames de imagem e as principais comorbidades respiratórias, cardíacas e hematológicas. Foi possível observar que os prognósticos dos pacientes estão relacionados a um conjunto de fatores pregressos como idade, obesidade e doenças crônicas, além de ser possível elucidar a evolução da infecção no âmbito da internação. Conclusão: A infecção e a pandemia consequentes ao vírus COVID-19 afetou não só o âmbito da saúde, mas também a economia e até mesmo a maneira com que a população lida com doenças infectocontagiosas. Embora já existam muitas informações comprovadas por estudos, ainda se torna necessário entender mais sobre o comportamento do vírus no corpo humano para que ocorra a constante diminuição do número de infecções e óbitos e para que seja a possível a criação de uma vacina segura e com comprovação da eficácia para erradicação do vírus.
