Consequências da crise financeira no empreendedorismo / Consequences of the financial crisis in entrepreneurship

Resumo


Este artigo produz uma revisão analítica dos mais importantes estudos dedicados à relação empreendedora com os choques económicos provocados por crises financeiras. A análise é baseada numa meta-análise utilizando estudos de avaliação de impacto que eram do domínio público em maio de 2017. A pesquisa foi focada em crises e efeitos económicos no comportamento de empreendedores e trabalhadores independentes. Os seguintes critérios foram escolhidos para considerar um país ou uma região como estando ou não em crise financeira: inflação de preços dos ativos, alavancagem crescente, grandes deficits da conta corrente e uma trajetória de desaceleração do crescimento económico. Houve duas perguntas de pesquisa que construíram a lógica do artigo:

1. Quais são os principais fatores de uma crise financeira que afetam a atividade empresarial?

2. Quão diferente foi a crise financeira de 2008/2009 de outras?

Verificamos que o principal efeito se baseia no ambiente económico e que quase todos os países experimentaram uma diminuição nas atividades empresariais durante a crise e no pós-crise imediato.
