Abstract



Myiasis is a disease caused by the infestation of dipteran larvae in organs and tissues of humans or other vertebrate animals. This infestation is a disease of short duration and low severity, with fatal cases being rare due to advances in treatment. We herein report an unusual case of a severes complications due to myiasis.
